- After the publications of the Decisions ¹ÒÌÌ-01-1/27.05.2009 and ¹ÒÌ G -01-1/27.05.2009 of the Executive Director of BSMEPA and the list of project proposals, offered to be financed within the budget lines BG161PO003-2.1.04 “Upgrade of technologies in small and medium-sized enterprises” and BG161PO003-2.1.05 “Upgrade of technologies in large enterprises”, 5 projects of clients of HIRON Management consulting have been approved for financing.
- The workshop under the Leonardo da Vinci “INNOVET – Innovative VET concept (car) mechatronics for weak learners, especially for youngsters and young adults” DE/08/LLP-LdV/TOI/147134 has concluded. The meeting took place on the 7 th-8 th of May 2009 in Hilversum, the Netherlands. Wanda Hristov and Marionela Simova took part in the meeting on behalf of HIRON.
- In the beginning of May 2009 the project proposal with a business plan for creating a micro-enterprise for development of the agricultural tourism in the area of “Polomie” – park of Rousse Lom has been completed and given for an assessment and funding under Measure 312 of the Rural Regions development programme.
- In April 2009 together with the Agency for small and medium enterprises of the republic of Turkey – KOSGEB and other partners from Turkey, Great Britain and Finland, a project proposal was submitted for funding “the Leonardo da Vinci programme – transfer of innovations” http://leonardo.ec.europa.eu.
- The project proposal foresees the experience and methods to be used of HIRON in creating the European Virtual Incubator (www.evi-incubator.bg) for implementing a series of courses in entrepreneurship and creating conditions for cooperation between the vocational teachers in this area and the training SMEs in these countries.
- In March 2009 the HIRON’s participation as a subcontractor of EKORIS Southeast Europe of the Europe Project Aid/123103/D/SER/BG, Technical assistance of the Ministry of Economy and Energy BG 2005/017-586.04.02 “Initiatives for development of clusters – Phase 2, has ended. The assignment of HIRON was to create Methods for assessing and organisational developing of industrial clusters and applying the tools for an appraisal of the ten included industrial clusters in the project.
- The developed tools under the IMP3prove project, in which HIRON took part as an associated network partner in 2008, received the prestigious award of EUROPA INNOVA – THE BEST INNOVATION TOOL “IMP3rove Assessment 2008”. More than 350 partners and 2100 enterprises from all Europe took part in the making and testing of the instrument. In December 2008 the European agency of standardisation CEN published “Standardization of an Innovation Capability Rating for SMEs” (CEN Workshop Agreement, CWA 15899). The document enlists a procedure for measuring the management of the innovations in the enterprises, based on the developed methods in this project. This is the first step in the transformation of IMP?rove Assessment Tool into a general European standard. HIRON is indicated as a Consultant of an innovative management for Bulgaria. - The project proposal of our client – “Dilko Tsankov” Ltd., Knezha - was approved for funding under the PHARE Programme “Financial support for increasing the competitiveness of the Bulgarian companies (Phase 3) ”. The name of the project is "Technological modernization and investment in the management of the company for soft drink production – “Dilko Tsankov” Ltd, Knezha" - PHARE BG 2006/164.05.01 .
- The project proposal of our client – “Lemi Trafo” Ltd. – was approved for f unding under the PHARE BG 2006/164.05.01 "Financial support for increasing the competitiveness of the Bulgarian companies (Phase 3)" under the name “Development of the company`s management, LEMI - TRAFO, Pernik”

- In the end of 2007 was successfully finalised the KMPlus project where HIRON Management Consulting Ltd. has been participating since November 2004 together with the UK based consulting company IAGO European Consultants Ltd. and 11 other European organisations.
