"Analysis of the economic situation of companies in the shipbuilding sector in the countries of Central and Eastern Europe. European Commission, Directorate III, 2000-2001"
As a partner of the consultancy company DFC Group, Spain, HIRON Management Consulting conducted a specialized study to determine the state of the shipbuilding sector in Bulgaria. The study was also based on the results of the privatization analyzes of the three government shipyards in Varna, Rousse and Burgas, which had previously been carried out under a contract with the Privatization Agency. After identification and profiling of 13 companies from the sector, benchmarking and summary of the analysis for Bulgaria were carried out. Consequently, an assessment was made of the competitiveness of the sector at European level in the context of the overall macroeconomic framework and the prospects for development.
